Socialization and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) are implementations of MBKM with academic partners and DUDI. The form of activity is MBKM Socialization and FGD with several academic partners and DUDI which is then continued with socialization to students regarding internal MBKM activities carried out by the FEB UTM S1 Management Study Program. This activity was held in the Mezzanine meeting room on the 1st floor of the Swiss-Belinn Tunjungan Hotel, Surabaya on 22-23 July 2022.

The Head of the Management Department said that this activity was carried out based on the MBKM Program launched by the Minister of Education and Culture through the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No.3 of 2020 concerning SN-Dikti, especially in articles 15 and 18. This student-centred MBKM policy is especially important in the program undergraduate degrees whose graduates are required to be able to immediately enter the world of work, while the world of work is changing very dynamically due to technological disruption as a logical consequence of the industrial revolution 4.0 (cyber-physical system). In the 21st century, human resources are no longer required to have manual, procedural skills, but are more required to have critical thinking, creative, communicative, collaborative and problem solving skills. The 21st century skills are oriented towards integrated skills between knowledge, skills and attitudes. Experiential learning programs with flexible pathways are expected to be able to facilitate students to develop their potential in accordance with their passion and talents and produce graduates who are able to work together in work (collaboration work), work in groups and have adequate leadership skills, through the habit of interacting with various parties outside the university.
He also added, based on this reality, it is the responsibility of the world of education, especially higher education, to create graduates who, apart from having academic competence, also have superior character. MBKM activities provide opportunities for students to have other learning experiences outside their study program so that they can improve student competence.OleTherefore, the FEB UTM Management Study Program implemented the MBKM program through an academic partnership and DUDI in an effort to increase Madura’s local potential for international competitiveness.
